Who We Are
Lucy Luman
I am Lucy Luman, a sophomore at IUPUI. I am a Social Work major aspiring to work within Policy Reform. The W231 class has helped me learn new skills with research and nonprofit growth, and I hope to bring that with me after this class.
I proposed the Mars Hill Charity Riders for our project. I grew up in the Mars Hill area and hope this recommendation report inspires helpful development in the future.
Tailish Laller
Hey everyone! My name is Tailish Laller, currently a junior at IUPUI studying Biology with a minor in Computer Science. I plan to apply to medical school soon and have my fingers crossed for a potential career in medicine! When I’m not at university, I'm helping out with the family business or spending time with my nieces/nephews!
Siren Hand
Hi, Charity Riders! I’m Siren Hand, a Senior at IUPUI for Creative Writing and Medical Sociology. I’m using my GI Bill to work towards practicing written & narrative therapy with fellow veterans and military youth.
In my spare time, my husband and I have a small literary/creative arts business based out of Near Bean Creek. I’m either buried in dogs or typewriters, if I’m not at a book release party or poetry show.

Hi, My name is Grant Mahuron and I am a sophomore studying Economics at IUPUI. I plan on staying in Indiana after college and will use my degree to benefit the community.
Julie Van Nei Tha
Hello! My name is Julie Van Nei Tha. I am a Liberal Arts Film (Production) Student with a minor in Graphic Design from IUPUI. I am currently a Sophomore. I plan to serve my country through media and possibly get into the entertainment industry assisting many great film directors while also focusing on leading a simple quiet life.
Stacy Dixson
Hello! My name is Stacie Dixson and I am currently a junior at IUPUI. I am a Social Work student with a minor in Sociology.
My concentration is Mental Health and Drug Addiction. I plan on working with children and their families after obtaining my license. In my free time I enjoy writing.(still looking for a good photo without others in it!)
